Gloria Mae O'Neal, "Glo" age 61, of Bristol, TN went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 13, 2021, at home surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was born on June 3, 1960 in Welch, West Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Floyd James and Stella Mae Lowery. Gloria was a resident of Tennessee for thirty-nine years. She was very known for her "Green Thumb". She was a "Jack of all trades". She owned a consignment shop, known by many, for over twelve years, hand-painted and sold ceramics for over ten years, the wife of a farmer, partner in O'Neal's Custom Meats, and O'Neal's Auction Company, and a Home Interior Representative for 15 years, but above all else a loving wife, and mother to her children, and caregiver to many. In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her loving husband of 30 years, Roy William O'Neal Jr; granddaughter, Makenzie Hope O'Neal-Presnell; brother, Crockett Lowery; and Charles Edward Hicks Sr. , her husband for only five years before his passing in his early twenties. Survivors include her daughter, Kimberley O'Neal; sons, Charles "Charlie" Edward Hicks Jr. and wife, Crystal; Jody Lee Hicks and wife, Wendy; special son, Council James Presnell Jr., all of Bristol, Tennessee; special niece, Christy Lynn Frazier of Davey, West Virginia; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Michelle Rogers and husband, Dalton; Maggie Mae Hicks; Kobe Edward Hicks; Jada LeeAnn Hicks; Kara McKenzi Hicks; Kaden Lee Hicks; Cole Ethan Hicks; Kammie-Mae Makenzie O'Neal-Presnell; Karter Dustin Hicks; Chase Everett Hicks; one great-grandson, Cooper Dean Rogers; sisters, Doris Lee Sparks; Ester Pruitt and husband, Lonnie; Rosa Addair and husband, Eugene; brothers, James Lowery and wife, Joan; George "Joe" Lowery and wife, Tammy; Roger Lowery and wife, Ella; Jerry "Wayne" Lowery and wife, Sandy; Roy Lowery and wife, Sherry; Chris Lowery and wife, Jean; Nathan "Neil" Lowery and wife, Durenda; Lonnie Lowery and wife, Theresa. A remembrance service to celebrate her life will be announced at a later date. Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (423-723-8177) is honored to serve the family.
