Glenda Faye Scantlin of Bristol, VA, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Saturday July 10th, 2021.
Glenda was born in Garrett, Kentucky in 1958. Her family moved to Blue Springs, Missouri where she later graduated from Blue Springs High School in 1976. Glenda was a flower child who never left the 60’s. She made her life what she wanted on her terms. Glenda had a very loving heart. Her hobbies were cooking, gardening, and taking care of her animals. She loved her children dearly. Glenda leaves a big hole in our heart, we will remember her free spirit and love forever.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Kelly Shields and fiance Tim Johnson; son, Brian Shields; grandchildren, Darian Jones, Darrell Jones, Tylin Shields, Zeric Shields, Tyrone Johnson (Kelly), Kylie Shields, Drake Shields (Brian); great grandchildren, Rowyn York, Darian Jones Jr; father, Walter Nelles; mother, Dottie French; brothers, Sandy French, Austin French, and Gene French; sister, Della Trimboli and husband Steven; nieces, Niccole and Alexis Trimboli; and her life partner, Scott Henry.
Memorial service to Celebrate her life will be held at a later time.
