Gertrude Greta Seckman

Gertrude "Greta" Brumfield Seckman, 83, of Pound, VA, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2022. Born in Pittsylvania County, Virginia, to Jim and Thelma Brumfield, Greta became a pharmacy tech and lived in Tampa, Florida. She was married to Chester "Chet" Allen Seckman for twenty-five years. She had two sons, Bill Tillman and Thomas Allen Seckman. Greta was artistic and enjoyed painting and ceramics. She was also especially fond of flamingos. In addition to her parents, Greta is preceded in death by her husband Chet as well as their son, Thomas Allen Seckman; sisters, Julia Brumfield Gilbert, Toni Brumfield; brother, Raymond Brumfield; nephews, Jim Gilbert and Ronnie Andrews. Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Bill Tillman (Roxanne VanGalder); granddaughter Kayla Marie Tillman; five great-grandchildren and one on the way; nephew, Ricky Andrew and niece, Terri Miller; nephew, Lawrence Gilbert; nieces, Jayne Gilbert Inman, Jude Adams, Joyce Gilbert Collie; special friends, Charlotte Aguilar, Addie Lowe.
