Gary Evans Draughn

Gary Evans Draughn, 84, of Chuckey, TN, passed away after an extended illness on Sunday, February 27, 2022. Gary spent most of his life working as a car salesman for various dealerships. He was a graduate from Shoemaker High School in Gate City, VA. Beside cars, Gary's other favorite hobbies were camping, eating ice cream and watching movies. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Katherine Kilgore and Ira Draughn; stepmother, Jeanne Draughn; sister, Kay Arnold; brother, Ira Von Draughn; half brother Phil Draughn. He is survived by daughters, Becky Ward (Robby), Debbie Barrett (Mike); grandchildren, Devin Ward (Ashley), Braden Ward, Gracen Ward; half-brothers, Jim Draughn (Norma), David Draughn (Cathy), Ronald Draughn (Donna); half-sisters, Patricia Draughn (Terry Cook), Lisa Frohock (Steve); several nieces and nephews; former wife, Linda Draughn; and special 4 legged companion "Max". The family will hold a private Celebration of Life at a later date. Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (423-723-8177) is honored to serve the Draughn family.
