Flo Jeanette Laton Clark, 80, went peacefully into that great night on June 3rd, 2018 with family by her side. Flo loved working on handmade crafts for her friends and family. She was blessed with the gift of word often writing poems on her carefully crafted cards to be given with love. Flo was a skilled seamstress by trade where she made everything from fine mens suits and exquisite wedding gowns all the way to curtains for the home. In light of all her hobbies and work she raised four wonderful children whom she loved dearly. “I woke up this morning with nothing to do, so I puckered up and blew a kiss to you. As it traveled across the miles, I remembered the joy of seeing your smile.” - Flo She is survived by her daughter and crafting buddy, Crystal McDaniel of Kingsport, TN.; son, Tim Clark and wife Connie of Kingsport, TN.; twin daughters, Karen Poff and husband Mark of Kingsport, TN., Sharen Winstead and husband Jay of Roanoke Rapids, NC.; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis Marion Laton II and Doris Cutchins Laton; husband, Wallace L. Clark; brother, Francis Marion “Sonny” Laton III and wife Carol; sister, Barbara Bailey and husband Vernon; sister, Peggy Hall Laton; several brother and sister in laws. A memorial service to Celebrate her Life Well Lived will be held on Saturday, June 9th at 11 am at Trinity Memorial Centers (1221 Stewball Circle, Kingsport, Tn.) with Pastor Bob Yates officiating.
