Farrin Gibson

Farrin Lane Gibson, 55, of Gray, TN passed away Monday, May 9, 2022, at the Johnson City Medical Center. Farrin, 55, was a native of Sullivan County and a lifelong resident of Washington County. He was the son of Janet Howell and the late Donald Gibson. He was a loving father and husband who cherished being involved in his familys activities and celebrating their accomplishments. Farrin was employed by Eastman Chemical Company. He enjoyed sports and was a coach for various little league teams for his daughter. He was always present in every area of his daughters lives and found immense happiness in participating and being involved. He was their biggest cheerleader. He also loved NASCAR racing and golfing with his friends. He enjoyed helping with various projects for family and friends and made everyone feel welcomed when they walked into a room. He touched many lives with his outgoing personality and will be missed dearly. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 33 years, Christi Gibson; his children, Alexandra “Ali” Layne Gibson and McKenzie Jordan Gibson; two sisters, Kim Baker and husband Joey, Leslie Keene and husband Ershal; two brothers, Mike Gibson, Chance Gibson and wife Jana; several nieces and nephews, and many close family friends. A memorial service for Farrin will be conducted at 4:00 pm on Sunday, May 15, 2022, at Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church located at 1432 SR-75, Jonesborough, TN, 37659. All are invited to attend.
