Ezra Gale Sandidge, 88, of Sevierville, TN, passed away on Saturday, September 14th, 2024, after a lifetime of dedication to his family, his work, and his country.

Born to Henry and Nellie Sandidge, Ezra was a respected member of the community and a proud veteran who served his country with honor.

After serving in the military, Gale built a successful career at Brassfield & Gorrie Construction, where his hard work and leadership were instrumental in the company's growth. His retirement marked the end of a distinguished career but the continuation of his influence in construction projects in his community continued throughout his retirement.

Ezra is survived by his beloved daughter, Gina Sandidge Lane; his niece, Sherry Brooks; and his brother-in-law, Charles Ellis. He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Nellie Sandidge, his sister, Patsy Ellis, his son-in-law, Larry C. Lane and his nephew Craig Brooks.

A service to honor Gale's life and legacy will be held at Mountain Home National Cemetery on Friday, September 20th, at 10:00 am with Military Honors provided by American Legion Hammonds Post 3 / Gate City 265. He will be laid to rest beside his other family members.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a veterans' charity of your choice, honoring Gale's commitment to his fellow servicemen and women. To honor Gale's memory and support the causes he cared about contributions can also be directed to the Veterans' Aid Foundation.
