Ernest Floyd Mowdy

Ernest Floyd Mowdy Jr., 78, of Church Hill, TN, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024.

Jr was predeceased in death by his wife, Deborah Mowdy; parents, Ernest Mowdy Sr. and Elizabeth Virginia McCloud; brother, Charles Mowdy; great grandson, Jonah Tillson.

He is survived by his fiance, Penny Johnson; son, Richard Mowdy and wife Kim; daughter, Elizabeth Nichols and husband Michael; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren; three sisters.

Funeral service will be held at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home (170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232) on Friday May 31st at noon with Pastor Michael Nichols officiating. Graveside to follow at Palm Memorial with military honors.
