Emma Sue Brooks

Emma Sue Brooks, 68, of Gate City, VA went to be with the Lord Jesus on Sunday, May 14, 2017. She was born in Scott County, Virginia and was the youngest of eight children, the daughter of the late Jim Hart and Belle Lotus Jennings. She worked for many years at Magnavox, Norris, Masco Tech and retired from Brock Services. She is also preceded in death by brothers; Ben, Cecil and J.C. Hart, sisters; Wanda Lewis, Rowena Calton, Nora Peters and dear friend and sister, Lois Smith. She is survived by her children; Belinda Susanne Carver, Kristi Brooks, Gary Necessary Jr. and Ricky Carver. A precious little grandsons; Landon, whom she loved dearly and Nathaniel, granddaughters; Michelle and M'Kaila. sister; Jo Ann Miller, beloved brother-in-law and dear friend, John C. Peters, sisters-in-law; Joy and Eva Hart, several nieces and nephews. The funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. prior to the service. The graveside service will be held at 11 am May 18, 2017 at Holston View Cemetery in Weber City, Virginia.
