Elsie Jean Boyer

Elsie Jean Boyer, 69, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 19, 2017. Elsie was born in Hiltons, Virginia to the late Albert and Geneva Barker McMurray. Also preceding her in death are her sisters, Verna Booher and Shirley Milburn; brother, Lester McMurray; and her first husband, Charles Morelock. She is survived by her husband, Dana Boyer; daughter, Lucy DeLancey; step-sons, Andy Boyer and Steve Boyer; four grandchildren, Billy R. DeLancey, John DeLancey and fiance, Savana Cain, Chris DeLancey and fiance, Stephanie Lane and Suzanne DeLancey; several step grandchildren; two great grandchildren, Cooper DeLancey and Molli DeLancey; special son in law, Billy J. DeLancey; sister, Mary Barrett; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow with Pastor Rex McMurray officiating. Special music will be provided by True Faith Singers. Graveside service will be held on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Depew's Chapel Cemetery at 10:00 AM. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the graveside.
