Elliot Milton Whitaker

Elliot Milton Whitaker, 14 months old, of Kingsport, TN, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 21, 2024.

Elliot was born at Bristol Regional Medical Center on July 21, 2023 to parents Lauran E. Manis and Brandon L. Whitaker. He was a very happy and loving baby, whose energy could fill a room. He was constantly learning new things and loved playing with his big sister, Tayla. Despite his short time on Earth, he was loved so deeply and brought immense happiness to everyone that knew him.

Elliot was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Herman M. Whitaker; Great-great-grandfather, Wayne Q. Robinette; great-great-grandmother, Eva Goins; and special family friend, Logan Ace Herron.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Lauran Elizabeth Manis; father, Brandon Lee Whitaker; sister, Tayla Brielle Allen; maternal grandparents, Lawrence Manis and Candice Manis; paternal grandparents, Christy Murray and Norris Whitaker; aunts, Montana Manis, Rayne Briskie, Michelle McCready and Norissa Whitaker; uncles, Evan Manis, Trevor Whitaker and Norris Whitaker the 2nd; and cousins, Magnolia Grace, Jude Creek and Salem Cove.

On Thursday, October 31, 2024 there will be a private family memorial to celebrate the life of Elliot Whitaker. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14
