Elizabeth Jean Debord

Elizabeth Jean "Jeannie" Debord, 69, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Sunday, January 29th, 2023. Jeannie was born in Louisville KY. She was raised in Kingsport and lived her entire life in the region. In her early adult years she worked as a dental assistant but soon after moved into Early Childhood Education for Kingsport City Schools. Her passions included working outdoors on the farm and spending time with her family at the lake.
Jeannie is preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Debord; parents, Dr. Kenneth Lynch and Bobbie Ryder-Lynch.
Left to cherish her memories are her children, Emily Wilkes and husband Mark, Carrie Horne and husband Kevin, Joseph Groseclose and significant other Brittany; grandchildren, Scarlett, Elijah, and Silas (Carrie), Joseph (Joseph); and brother, Don Lynch.
Receiving of friends and family will be held on February 3rd, from 2:00pm till 3:00pm at Trinity Memorial Centers. A memorial will follow at 3:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to St. Judes.
