Eleanor Fox Chase

Eleanor "Bonnie" Fox Chase, age 72, of Kingsport, TN passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 8, 2014 at Wellmont Hospice in Bristol, TN. Born in Spartanburg, SC, Bonnie was raised in Atlanta, GA. Surviving are her brother, Herbert C. Fox, Jr. of Raleigh, NC and her children, Alice Urquhart of Berryville, VA, Kelly Urquhart of Asheville, NC, Kristy Urquhart of Asheville, NC and Kent Urquhart of Kingsport, TN. She was preceded in death by her father, Herbert C. Fox of Chatham, VA and mother, Myrtle Poindexter of Gretna, VA. Bonnie will be remembered for her infectious laughter, kindness to others including animals, and her zest for life. She requested folks “raise a glass and remember the good times” in her honor. Friends and family are welcome to a celebration of life service on Sunday, April 13, from 3:00-5:00 PM at Trinity Memorial Centers off of John B. Dennis Highway, Kingsport, TN.
