Eileen Hegel

Eileen Hegel, 74, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 18, 2018 in Ocala, FL after a lengthy illness. Born in Scotland, she had been a resident of Kingsport since 1991, coming from New Jersey. She was of the catholic faith. Eileen enjoyed visiting neighbors, helping people and she enjoyed taking rides. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Margaret Simpson; brother, William Simpson; and sister, Rita Parker. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Fred Hegel, of the home; daughter, Maureen Hegel (Steve), of Mt. Carmel; son, James Hegel, of Memphis; grandchildren, Travis Darling, Shannon Stump and Steven Petruska; great grandchildren, Jalissa, Lucas and Jailyn; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Graveside will be held at Mountain Home National Cemetery on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 10:00 AM.
