In Loving Memory of Corporal Edward "Eddie" Elliott

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Edward "Eddie" Elliott, a cherished father, grandfather, and esteemed Marine, who left us on May 15th at the age of 64.

Born on June 16th, Eddie was a man of unwavering courage, boundless love, and an infectious zest for life. Eddie dedicated four years of his life to serving our country with honor and distinction in the United States Marine Corps. His bravery and commitment to duty were matched only by his deep devotion to his family.

Eddie is survived by his fiancé Connie Bailey. His two sisters: Karen Campbell (Mitchell) and Martha Elliott-Roark. His four beloved daughters: Jessica Gamroth, Mandolyn McNeal (Jeremy), Elizabeth Greene (Christopher Hooks), and Megan Elliott. Along with his seven grandchildren: Chloe Clark (Devin), Exavier McNeal, Karismah McNeal, Adolyn McNeal, Joseph Peterpaul, Gunther Greene, and Ella Rose Taylor.

Eddie was a man of simple pleasures; his heart belonged to the melodies of music and the tranquil rhythm of fishing. Eddie's greatest pleasures in life were found in the garage, out on the water, and surrounded by the melodies of his favorite tunes. A military-trained mechanic, he could often be found under the hood of a car, tirelessly working to restore any and all vehicles to their former glory. His love for cars was matched only by his passion for fishing.

Whether at a local pond or on a serene lake, Eddie found solace and joy in the patient art of casting a line, always eager to share a fishing story or two with his friends and family. Music was another cornerstone of Eddie's life. He had an eclectic taste that spanned genres and decades, and his home was often filled with the sounds of rock, blues, and country. Eddie loved to play guitar in his free time. Each chord he played was a small victory, a testament to the hours he spent honing his craft. Eddie was a friend to all who crossed his path, embodying the true spirit of kindness and generosity.

Eddie's life was a testament to the beauty of simple pleasures and the joy of pursuing one's passions. He will be deeply missed by his fiancé , sisters, children, grandchildren, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Eddie's memory will forever be cherished, and his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
