Edgar Ray Ford

Edgar Ray Ford, 84, of Bristol, TN, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023.
Eddie was born in Washington County, TN, to Vernon and Anna Ford, the baby in a family of ten children. He spent his life in northeast Tennessee, where he met and married Hazel Bowers. The couple had a daughter, Betsy, and they enjoyed almost sixty years of marriage together. Eddie had two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and he helped to raised many nieces and nephews. He was affectionately referred to as, "Paw." He retired from a career as a machine operator for over thirty years at Ball Corporation and spent his free time enjoying his passion of fishing.
In addition to his parents, Eddie is preceded in death by eight of his older siblings.
Those left to cherish Eddie's memory include his loving wife, Hazel; daughter, Betsy (Bobby) Talbert; granddaughter, Brandie Worley; grandson, Chad Worley; great-granddaughters, Lyla Jade Worley and Gabby Worley; sister, Bessie Hale; sisters-in-law, Edith Bowers, Winifred Large, Naomi Gross; multiple nieces and nephews whom he loved as his own.
Eddie's wishes were to be cremated.
