Eddie Lee Redmond, 74, of Kingsport, TN, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 9, 2025.

Born in Corbin, KY, Eddie was a skilled surveyor by trade. He had a deep love for the outdoors, spending much of his time fishing and enjoying nature. A thoughtful and strategic thinker, he also had a passion for playing chess and reading books. Above all, he cherished his family and friendships, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Emeral C. Redmond and Lillian Irene Lockhart Redmond, as well as his grandson, Zachary.

He is survived by his son, Jeffrey Redmond, and his fiancée, Jeannie; grandson, Zane; and great-grandchildren, Zoey and Greyson.

Services will be private.
