Duwayne "Duke" Allen McBee, 85, of Gray, TN, went to his eternal home with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 20, 2025.

Born in Hardin, Missouri, in 1939, Duke was a proud graduate of Braymer High School, Class of 1957. His love for sports was unmatched, especially his devotion to the Mizzou Tigers and the Kansas City Chiefs. An avid golfer, golf club fitter, and golf industry executive, he shared his passion for the game with many including fitting clubs for two U.S. Presidents-George H.W. Bush Sr. and Gerald Ford-and working with numerous celebrities. His colorful career took him around the world, where he played golf with professionals and even Michael Jordan.

Duke never met a stranger and had a gift for making friends wherever he went. He adored his grandchildren and cherished every moment spent with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Beatrice (Mallory) McBee; his brother, Marion; and his son, Eric Lee.

Left to carry on his legacy is his beloved wife of 68 years, Vicki; daughters, Alana Baker (Dee) and Shelli Holechek (Tony); grandchildren, Lucas Baker (Thavone), Chance Baker, Cindy McBee, Samantha Sonnemaker (Billy), Jayson Holechek, and Jonah Pendergrass; great-grandchildren, Halie Rising (Hunter), Peyton Baker, Finn Baker, Reid Baker, and Stella Squires; great-great-granddaughter, Gracie Mae Rising; and his sister, Lorene Baska.

The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, February 23rd, from 4:00 PM to 4:30pm at Gray Station Baptist Church. The service will begin  immediately afterwards.
