Dovie Jean Guy, 79, of Weber City, VA, went to be with the Lord on November 4th, 2018.
She was born in Scott County, VA where she lived most of her life. She graduated Dungannon High School and went on to attend Mtn Empire College. She was a teachers aid for many years. She spent most of her life as an LPN for several nursing home facilities. She loved to social with family and friends, loved to visit with people, and loved her bingo.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Troy and Lakie Lucas; son, Freddie Lynn Finch; daughter, Debra Juanita Dandy; grand son, Samuel Ryan Lucas Finch.
She is survived by her sons, Randy Finch, Sammy Finch, and Paul T. Guy; grand children, Harold Ramey, Rebecca Ramey, Billy Joe Ramey, Dustin Ramey, Justin Ramey, Freddie Clinton Finch, Tracy Lynn Finch, Travis Guy, Kayla Guy, Dalton Guy, Tayla Guy, Cody Finch, and Ethan Finch; nephew, Johnny Cox; and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews;
The family will have a private service at the cemetery.
