Doris Gale Browder

Doris "Doe" Malone Browder, 58, went home to be with the Lord on Friday (August 15) at Indian Path Medical Center, after a lengthy illness. She was born February 29, 1956 in Bristol, VA to Rev. Haskell Malone and Helen Malone. At a young age, she moved to Chattanooga, TN with her family, where she attended and graduated from Soddy Daisy High School in 1975. After graduation, her family returned to Gray, TN where she resided until her death. She was a faithful member and pianist at the Way of Life Baptist Church in Bloomingdale, TN. She enjoyed playing many instruments and singing. She enjoyed spending time with her family, including her husband, daughter, adopted children, and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Rev. Haskell Malone; brother, Randall Malone; and mother-in-law, Jessie Browder. She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Ronald Browder; one daughter, Amanda Ball and fianc James Thompson; grandchildren, Sarah (12), JJ (11), Gunner (9), Ashlyn (5), and Ashton (4); four adopted children, Richard, Amber, Cody, and Ladonna and their children; her loving mother, Helen Marita Malone; two brothers, Paul and wife Donna Malone, Kenny and wife Rhonda Malone; father-in-law, Major Browder; step mother-in-law, Mona Browder; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday (August 20) from 4 to 6 p.m. in the chapel at Trinity Memorial Centers. The funeral service will follow with Pastor Johnny Gibson and Pastor Curtis Ponder officiating. Interment will be at Tri-Cities Memory Gardens on Thursday (August 21). Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at Trinity Memorial Centers at 12:30 p.m. to go in procession to graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Trinity Memorial Centers at P.O. 7733 Kingsport, TN 37664.
