Donna Sue Sanders

Donna Sue Sanders, age 65, of Kingsport, TN, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, April 4, 2025.

Born on June 22, 1959, Donna was the beloved daughter of the late Don and Cena Ferguson. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose love for her family knew no bounds. A proud Tennessee Vols fan, Donna brought spirit and warmth to every gathering and lived her life with fierce love and unwavering loyalty.

In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Sanders, and her sister, Teresa Carter.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, April Overbay Davis and husband, Damone; her son, Dustin Overbay; her grandchildren, Jayla Mullins and Damarcus Overbay; and her great-grandchildren, Aubree Mullins and Kamdyn Calton. She is also survived by her brothers, John Ferguson and David Ferguson; nieces, Brandi Turner, Shiane Carter, Cassie Hensley, and Mary Ferguson; nephew, Matthew Hensley; and her dear friend, Connie Patterson.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to honor Donna's legacy and the love she shared so generously with those around her.
