Diana Lynn Dunn, 57, of Kingsport, TN, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, May 20, 2014. She was born October 3, 1956, in California-her father was serving in the United States Air Force. Diana was known to her family and everyone around her as a very loving and giving person. Her living testimony was her everyday walk in life. Sister Diana gave her entire life to her mission of serving other people. To her family, she was a cherished daughter, beloved sister, and a treasured Aunt. To the Lord, she was a soul-winner, a faithful servant not only to her church, but also to her community. Her life exemplified the love of Christ so blamelessly, that her influence will eternally be carried on by her peers, her friends, and her family. Diana is preceded in death by her sister, Deborah Kay Churchwell; and her father, Ernest Robert Dunn. Survivors of Diana Lynn Dunn include her mother, Mary Francis Dunn (Kingsport, TN); brothers, Ernest Daniel Dunn and wife Carolyn, Dennis Mitchell Dunn and wife Jean, Michael Lynn Dunn and wife Loraine, Randall Lee Dunn and wife Julie, and Darrell James Dunn (all of Kingsport, TN); sisters, Donnatella Marie Davis, Durella Francis Ward and husband Shannon, and Damaar Ann Hunley and husband Donnie (all of Kingsport, TN); several nieces and nephews and many special friends including, Emily Robinette, Ms. Lillie R. Turner, Jean Ann Moore, Carol Bradley, and Cici. The family of Diana Lynn Dunn will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Trinity Memorial Centers (1221 Stewball Circle, Kingsport, TN 37660). Friends may also call anytime at the residence (2008 Fort Robinson Drive, Kingsport, TN). A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 25, 2014 at Mt. Zion Holiness Church (386 Dunbar Street, Kingsport, TN 37660). Rev. Lester Turner will officiate. Following the conclusion of the celebration service, those wishing to do so will travel in procession to Oak Hill Memorial Park for a graveside service. Pallbearers will be Donnie Hunley, Brandon Hunley, Phillip Ennis, Ernie Linkous, Adam Dunn, and Tyler Dunn. Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Diana Lynn Dunn.
