Dewey Wallace Grizzle

Dewey Wallace Grizzle, 80, of Kingsport, TN, passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was born on February 10, 1938 and had just celebrated his 80th birthday. Dewey was a big fan of NASCAR and golf and he had a passion for gardening and yard work and could grow just about anything. He especially liked his roses, blackberry bushes and his orange tree. He was also fond of old westerns and reading books written by Louis Lamour. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Penley and Mary Grizzle; and his sister, Marie Kennedy. Survivors include his loving wife and best friend of 27 years, Jennifer Grizzle; brother, Gary “Buster” Grizzle; and niece Debbie Madre. A memorial service will be held at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 1:00 pm. A time for gathering with family and friends will follow. His family would like to express their sincere appreciation to all the members of Amedisys Hospice Care who were a huge support to Dewey.
