Denise Ann Boyd

Denise Ann Boyd of Mckeesport, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 19th, 2024 at the age of 62.

Denise is survived by her siblings, Patty Jo Behrens, Kim Panico, William Boyd, Dennis Boyd, Michael Boyd, and Lisa Winnerstrom. She is dearly missed by her 3 children, Jerrie Boyd, Jennifer McCarson, and Frances Boyd; her grandchildren, Daisy Potter, Katlyn Kreisa, Sandra McCarson, Raymond McCarson and Eric Daniels; and many more she called her own.

Denise was a free spirit that always had an open heart. She was always authentically herself and encouraged others to do the same. She had an affinity for joy. Happiness is fickle and is based on happy circumstances, But joy is never ending and is not chased off by trouble.

John 16:22 tells us, "You have sorrow now: But I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you." This is something she held in her character and her loved ones now carry in their hearts.

Denise was a woman of generosity and filled beloved family and strangers with new perspectives to brighten the world.

A memorial service will take place on Monday, September 23, 2024 at Laurel Recreation Area, starting at 2 p.m.
