Delores Anne Vicars

Delores Anne Vicars, loving wife, mom and Grandma, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023, surrounded by her loving family at home. Born March 20, 1942, she was eighty-one years old.

Delores was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Vicars; parents, Virginia and Harrison Taylor; brother, Gene Taylor; niece, Kathy Taylor.

She is survived by her two daughters, Sandy Williams (Randy) and Carol Boyd (John); grandchildren, Blake England, Kassie Greene (Jeremy), Brooke Palmer (David), Brad Conkin (Brandi); great grandchildren, Reagan, Teagan, Cannon, Anneliese, Mackenlie; sister, Jo Gragg (Mike); niece, Missy Sturgill (Danny); nephew, Luke Gragg (Tonya).

The Vicars family would like to extend a special thank you to Delores' nephew, Luke, as well as nurse's aide, Dee Gentry, Hospice nurses, Amanda, Jacki, and Lindsey, and Pastor and family friend, Jaime Mauk.

Delores wished for no funeral or services. Her ashes, along with Jimmy's, will be scattered together on the family farm.

In lieu of flowers or food contributions, the family requests that donations in Delores' memory be made to Barton's Chapel Baptist Church, 1719 Netherland Inn Road, Kingsport, TN 37660.
