Deborah Ann Salyards

Deborah Ann Salyards, 66, of Kingsport, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 7, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Kingsport, Tennessee and resided most of her life there. She was the daughter of James Salyards and Ruby Humphries. She graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School Class of 1973 and then went on to attend ETSU. Deborah worked for Regions Bank formerly known as AmSouth Bank as a business banker until her retirement. In Deborahs spare time she loved going to the beach especially with a good book in her hand. She will be remembered for her adoration for animals. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Preceded by her parents, James Salyards and Ruby Humphries; best friend, Ruby Jones; special child, Ashley Marshall Honeycutt who fought a courageous battle with cancer as well. Survived by daughter, Tasha Salyards; granddaughter, Haylie Cordell; brother, James Salyards, and other special children, grandchildren, and friends It was her wishes to be cremated and have no services.
