David Merle Lantz

David Lantz, passed away peacefully next to his wife of 37 years on December 11, 2023. In those 37 years of marriage, they shared 3 beautiful kids, 5 grandchildren, and raised two god children.

He is preceded in death by his mom and dad, Eunice Jean and William Arthur Lantz; and his mother in law, Audrey "sis" Beeson.

He is survived by his wife and the mother of his children, Brenda Beeson; his children, Tony and Amber Beeson, Mark Daniel, and Elijah and Apache Rich; grandchildren, Nevaeh and Kynzley Beeson, Wyllo-Elizabeth Rich, Gavin Snapp and Sara Lindsey (all of Kingsport, Tennessee); his two brothers, Phillip and Ray Lantz; sister, Cathy Godfrey
(all of Buckhannon, West Virginia); two god children, Devin & Tianna Williams of Kingsport; and 22 nieces and nephews.

David was a devoted father, husband, and pop-pop. He was a man whose family would move heaven and earth for him. David could light up a room when he walked into it, and he made many friends along his lifetime. He was a hardworking carpenter and could always fix any problem he was faced with. David was notorious trustworthy. He will be so dearly missed.

In lieu of flowers donations to st Jude children's hospital in his honor would be greatly appreciated.

The family has decided to have a celebration of life at a later date.
