David O'Donnell departed this earthly plane on January 15, 2024.
He was born on May 22, 1961 in Baltimore Maryland to Bernard and Jeanne O'Donnell. He was greeted on the other side by his father, Bernard; his wife, Soon Fuller; and his furry companions, Pepper and Pablo.
He is survived by his mother, Jeanne O'Donnell of Baltimore Maryland; brothers, John O'Donnell of Fort Myers Florida, Jerry O'Donnell of Cambridge New Zealand; sisters, Margaret Jacobs of Baltimore Maryland, Kathleen Knisley of Four Oaks North Carolina; stepsons, Carson Coldiron of Kingsport Tennessee and Ellis Fuller of Chattanooga Tennessee.
Also surviving are his grandchildren who lovingly called him "Popsie", Cherrokee, Denver, Railey, Rycen, and Asher; several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Dave was the most laid back man you could ever meet, always willing to lend a helping hand. In his younger years he loved to fish and be outdoors, soaking up the sun and breathing in the fresh air. The love of his life was his wife Soon and he was one of the few people brave enough to let her drive everywhere they went. In fact they loved traveling, anywhere from Montana to Maryland, Florida and many places in between.
Dave always had fun at the Kingsport Senior center and loved the friends he met there. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was always happy to see his grandchildren, meeting them with a smile and a big hug on departing. "Dave" as his family and friends called him, missed his wife Soon dearly after her passing. We know he was happy to find her waiting for him as he crossed over yelling "Dave, Dave", and know he must have had the biggest smile on his face as they reunited.
Dave will be dearly missed by all those who knew him.
His wish was to be cremated and a private memorial will be held at a later time.
