David "Dave" Lonald Swiney

David "Dave" Lonald Swiney went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ unexpectedly at his home on December 10, 2018. David was born in South Carolina at Shaw Air Force base on July 4, 1972, and was the son of the late Robert Glen Swiney and Geralidine A. Swiney. He is preceded in death by his beloved nephew, Justin Williams. David lived most of his life in Bristol, TN and was a talented musician. David enjoyed playing his guitar and could play many other instruments and he also loved motorcycles and classic cars. He was affectionately known by his brothers as "Big Skinny". David had a big heart with an encompassing kindness, which remains with us in his precious son, David Sean. David is survived by his son, David Sean Swiney; sisters, Wanda Swiney, Karen Swiney (both of Bristol TN); brothers, Matthew Swiney and wife, Denise, of Church Hill, TN, Stephen Swiney, of Bristol, TN, and Mark Swiney and wife, Molly, of Bristol TN; his fiance, Stephanie Blevins, of Bristol, TN; stepmother, Mary Swiney, of Bristol, TN; and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. There will be a Celebration of Life Service for David at Bethel Baptist Church (1732 Paperville Road, Bristol TN) with Pastor Jim Boling officiating on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 6:00 P.M. And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.
