David Carl Almany

David Carl Almany "Mingo", 72, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020 as a result of injuries sustained from a car crash. Dave was an avid outdoorsman, spending as much time as possible on the water. He was hard working, and was very skilled in his chosen trade of welding. He loved watching old westerns, going camping, riding motorcycles, and teaching his grand kids the art of welding. Dave also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Almany and Jeanette Almany. He is survived by the love of his life, Karen Almany; two sons, Mitchell and Jeremy Almany, and their mother Mary Phillips; sisters, Carol Hulse and Janie Cornett; brothers, Jack, Robert, and Philip Almany; grandchildren, Meghan and James Bishop; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will be holding a private service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking to please donate to the Shriners Hospital.
