Crystal Dawn Stokes

Crystal Stokes, 33 went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 after a lengthy illness. She was a loving mother, daughter, wonderful friend and a very special person. We lost the best person in the world. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles William “Tom” Stokes; and uncles, Louis and Bobby Danford and Robert Stokes. Crystal is survived by her mother, Mildred Stokes; daughters, Chloe Stokes Sims and Jordan Sims; sister, Melissa Stokes; brother, William “Bill” Stokes; grandmother, Lydia Estelle Stokes; father of her children, James Sims, Jr; and nephews, aunts and cousins. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 02, 2016 from 1-2:30 PM at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service is to follow at 2:30 PM.
