Clifford Allen Anderson

Clifford Allen "Stone" Anderson, aged 70, from Kingsport, TN, passed away on May 10, 2024.
Born in 1953 in Bristol, Tennessee, Clifford had a long and respected career as a truck driver, working for Terry's Potato Chips and Food City, where he earned the nickname "Stone." Known for his safe driving, he received several awards throughout his career. Clifford was a devoted husband to his high school sweetheart, Donna, for 48 years, and together they shared a love for the outdoors, often visiting Pigeon Forge and Dollywood. He had a fondness for McDonald's strawberry milkshakes and cherished the times he and Donna rode together on his Triumph motorcycle in their younger years.
Sadly, Clifford was predeceased by his beloved wife, Donna (Widener); their infant sons, Jeffrey and Joseph; his parents, Walter Sr. and Roberta (Wilson); and his brother, Sam Anderson.
He is survived by his brother, Walter Anderson Jr.; sister-in-law, Barbara; his special niece, Robin Hicks and her husband James; and many other nieces and nephews.
Services will be held privately.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at the Village at Allendale in Virginia's Garden and his hospice nurses for their compassionate care.
