Clayton Lynn Johnson

Clayton Lynn Johnson, aka "Bub", 34, died peacefully on Thursday, July, 13, 2023, at Holston Valley Medical Center with medical issues.

He is survived by his son, Caden Lynn Johnson; mother, Donna Hampton (Bobby); father, Chris Johnson (Katie); sisters, Cayla Barker (Joshua) and Taylor Hampton; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and his loving dogs, Bo, Drindle, and Capone.

Clayton was a very outspoken and assertive young man who adored his dogs and was blessed with artistic ability and his love for playing the guitar. He had a heart of gold, a quick temper, and a stubborn mind, but would help and care for all those around him. He wasn't perfect, but he was a one of a kind, steady in his ways. He took life one day at a time. He will be greatly missed and loved by all those who had the privilege of knowing him -

Now God, take Clayton by the hand and lead him to you. I entrust him into your loving care.

The family will receive friends from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at Trinity Memorial Centers, 1221 Stewball Circle, Kingsport, Tennessee. Cremation will take place afterward, as was Clayton's wish.
