Christy Renee Estrella

Christy Renee Estrella, 45, passed into the arms of her Savior on December 13, 2023, after suffering with an extended illness. Christy loved her family and her pets. She served in many areas of service such as food service, store clerk, care giver, and homemaker. Her wishes were to be cremated.

Christy was preceded in death by her parents, the late Tom and Carolyn Akers Taylor, her grandparents and several aunts and uncles.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Juan Estrella, Sr. of the home; daughters, Leighenna Estrella of Nickelsville, VA and Christina Estrella of the home; Son, Juan Estrella, Jr. of the home; Half-brother, Timmy Jordan; Brother, Tommy (Jodie) Taylor of Nickelsville, VA; Half-sister, Evelyn (Gray) Taylor of Kingsport, TN; Sister, Tina (Chris) Stidham of Wise, VA; Nieces, Samantha Stidham and Hadley Taylor; Nephews, TJ Taylor, Bramble Stidham, and Bryar Taylor; Great niece, Juniper Saige Taylor; Special friend, Etta Hernandez.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Pastor Alan Moser for his kindness shown to our family always.

The family wishes to receive friends at the residence of her brother Tommy Taylor, 15992 Nickelsville Hwy, Nickelsville.

A Memorial Service will be held from 5 PM to 7 PM on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Moore's Memorial Baptist Church, 1454 Nickelsville Highway, Gate City, VA, with Pastor Alan Moser officiating.
