Christopher Maxwell Azure

March 20, 1973 — January 19, 2020

Christopher Maxwell Azure, 46, of Elizabethtown, KY, passed away on Sunday, January 19th, 2020. Chris was born in 1973 in Maryland where he was raised. He graduated from Bowie High School class of 1991. He then went on to become a graduate of Cincinnati Bible College with a degree in Youth Ministry. During college he fell in love with fellow student and they married and he had two children whom he loved. Growing up he always wanted to be a fireman. After he graduated school he joined the Bowie Maryland Fire Department. He then went on in 2002 to become a part-time on the Colerain Township and Westchester Fire Departments near Cincinnati. In 2009 he joined the Army Reserves. During his time in the Army Reserves he fell in love with being a medic in the Fire Department and Army Reserve. He was very proud of his accomplishment and his career. After a few years he started work as a fastener line operator at Modern Plating in E-Town and he made many long time friends at the plant. Chris also enjoyed fishing with his dad, the Washington Redskin, and motorcycles. He would ride his bike whenever he had the chance. He made many friends over the years and loved to make people laugh. He was loved dearly by his family and will be greatly missed. Left to cherish his memories are his parents, Larry Azure and wife Connie, Judi Latchford and husband Jim; two children, Shea and Artemis; sisters, Megan Morgan and husband Greg, Wynette Jones and husband Ken, Flora Summey; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday February 9th at Haszard Auditorium (Fort Knox, KY) military rites will be provided by his unit at Fort Knox. Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (423-723-8177) is honored to serve the family.
