Cheryl Beth Shinault Mills

When a loved one becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure. We cherish the time we had with you, still loved, still missed, until we meet again. Cheryl Beth (Shinault) Mills, age 45, of Church Hill, TN, passed away in Norfolk, VA. May 10, 2020. Born in Cumberland, MD. She attended Dobbins Bennett and Volunteer High School. Cheryl excelled in her self-taught marketing skills and had several marketing projects for various companies. She is preceded in death by her brother Jason Glen Shinault, maternal grandparents, Bernard and Betty Carol Taylor Billings; her paternal grandparents, Dan Harvey and Rosa Mae Alley Shinault. Cheryl loved the fun things in life. She enjoyed music, sports, Nascar, playing pool, the beach, traveling, friends, ice skating, roller skating, working jigsaw puzzles, Halloween and parties for her children. She loved the New England Patriots. There wasn't much of anything she wouldn't do if it would bring a smile and laughter to the event. She loved to sing, she knew all the words to songs as they played. She is survived by her parents, Jessie Glen and Carolyn Diane Billings Shinault of Church Hill, TN; daughter, Brittany Alyssa Mockett Mills of Livingston, Montana; sons, Kirk Allen Mills, Gabriel Ethan Mills, Blaine Alexander Mills, of Wilsall, Montana and Tyler J. Mills of Church Hill, TN. There will be no formal funeral services. Viewing by family only. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to a charity of your choice.
