Charles Ray Snyder

Charles Ray Snyder, 71, of Gate City, VA, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024.

Charles was born on 11th day of December ,1952 in Fleming Kentucky. At about 2 years of age , he moved with his parents to Lorain County ,Ohio. He worked at Elyria Memorial Hospital as a orderly transporter until he became disabled . Charles later moved to Tennessee and then to Gate city VA after the death of his second wife, Christine Snyder. Charles love to sing gospel songs and testify. He was not ashamed to witness to others, his prayer was to always lead souls to repentance. He recently enjoyed the friendship at Clinch View prayer meeting service's on Wednesday evenings. His wishes would be this continues on for the residents of this complex. Charles loved God and his Family. He Loved to help others . Charles famous quote to his sisters was " There our better days ahead, have Faith." Us sisters now can assure our brother is Happy and Rejoicing in Heaven with God and his Family. He finally has his Heavenly Home. Rest in peace our brother. We will see you again one day.

Charles was preceded in death by his first wife, Susan Snyder; second wife, Christine Snyder.; and his parents, Ray and Ruth Snyder.

He is survived by adopted daughter, Kim Snyder Bell; step daughter, Jennifer; sisters, Odessa Solomon and husband Mike, Kathy Steffey and husband Johnny; his Very Special sister, Susie Snyder; and several nieces and nephews.
