Cathy May Humphrey

December 8, 1951 — January 25, 2016

Cathy May Humphrey, 64, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2016 with her sister by her side. Cathy loved spending time fishing and traveling with her loving husband, Bill, of 30 years. Later in life, she was blessed with a child whom became her joy. She enjoyed tending to her flowers. Cathy loved animals and had several dogs that she spoiled rotten. She always dreamed of going back to the beach with her family. She was surrounded by love and lived life to the fullest. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Grace Housewright; her loving husband of 30 years, Bill Humphrey; infant son, William Joe Humphrey; brother, Floyd Housewright; half-brothers, Earl Casteel and Gene Casteel. She is survived by her daughter, Lacey Davison; step-children, Marty, Wes, Jody, Lorna and Libby; brothers, Dale and wife, Cindy Housewright and Robert Housewright; sisters, Patty and husband, Carroll (JR) Quillen and Debbie Santos; half-brother, Jack Owens and Wayne Casteel; half-sisters, Carol Messer and Jean Carter; and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. A visitation of friends and family will be held on Friday, January 29, 2016 from 5-7pm at Visions Independent Freewill Baptist Church (1108 Saratoga Road, Kingsport, TN). A Celebration of Life will follow at 7:00pm with Pastor Chad Riner officiating. Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Ms. Humphrey.
