Carl Frank Hamilton, 71, of Johnson City, TN, went to be with the lord on Monday, May 6, 2019.
Carl was born on March 29th, 1948 and lived there until he was drafted into the Army as a Ranger in 1969 where he served a 5 year term honorably. Carl loved spending time with family and friends, and was also an avid fisherman spending every minute he could at “Flag Pond”. Carl loved spending time in his garden growing any and all manner of items, but had a particular fondness for tomato plants.
Carl was preceded by his parents Jefferson and Alma Hamilton; brother James L Hamilton; and sister Deborah Hamilton
He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Hamilton; brothers Jefferson Hamilton Jr., Gary Hamilton and wife Patty; sister-in-law Sharon Hamilton; daughter Tiffany Hamilton, Jana Murrell and husband Wesley, Jaylee Hamilton, Kristian Hamilton; son Jeremy Nunery, and Christopher Kirkpatrick; grandchildren Trenton and Morgan Murrell, Nicola Nunery, Lindsey Nunery, Lilly Nunery, Haley Kirkpatrick, and Gavin Steins; several special friends and special nieces and nephews.
Service times and military honors will be announced at a later date.
