Carl Everette Cleek

Carl Everette Cleek, 71, of Church Hill, TN, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023.

Born in Sullivan County to Warren and Violet Cleek, Carl grew up in Gate City, Virginia. He went on to proudly serve his country in the US Army in the Vietnam War. After his service, he worked as a lineman in the cable optic industry. Although he traveled for work, Carl always returned home and he raised his girls in northeast Tennessee. He loved watching his westerns and military documentaries.

Carl is preceded in death by his parents, Warren "Papaw Boot" and Violet; brother, Jack Cleek; niece, Brenda Cleek.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving daughters, Amber Anderson (Buddy), Cynthia Cleek; sister, Irma McDowell (and family); grandchildren, Kaitlyn Cleek, Gregory Rodefer, Blayne Cleek, Seth Cleek, Allen Anderson, Natasha East; great-grandchildren, Aryanah Williams, Peyton Williams, Mason Williams, Nevaeh Rodefer, Liam Cleek, Connor Strapp, Vincent Strapp, Killian Johnson, Ronan Johnson.
