Burnie Cameron Morrison

Burnie Cameron Morrison, 85, of Rogersville, TN, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 30th, 2018. Burnie was born in Beech Creek where he lived his whole life. He retired after several years at General Shale in Kingsport. He loved farming and country living. To know Burnie you have heard his stories and he was quite the legend of Beech Creek. Burnie is preceded in death by his wife, Lillian; parents, Everett and Maude Morrison; brothers, Ray and Kenneth Morrison. He is survived by his sisters, Nettie Hill and Nadine Morelock; daughters, Darlene, Beverly, Mary, and Melissa; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a special nephew, Ed and wife Martha Hill. Burnie was so well loved and liked throughout the Beech Creek community that we are holding a Life Celebration on Friday, January 4, 2019 at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6-7PM and the service to follow with Dr.Bobby Bernard officiating.
