Buddy Taylor Broyles

Buddy Taylor Broyles (80), of Kingsport, Tennessee went to be with the Lord after a lengthy illness. Buddy was born in Greeneville, Tennessee in 1938 to Lowry and Mildred Broyles. Buddy had a life long love of golf and bowling. Buddy began working as a teen setting pins at the first bowling alley in Kingsport on Five Points. He was a member of the Tennessee Bowling Hall of Fame, and was the owner of Bowl-Mor Lanes. Buddy was also a founding member of The Crossings Golf Course. Buddy was a member of the First Christian Church in downtown Kingsport. Buddy had worked Holston Defense Corp, Mead Corp, and retired from Willamette Industries. Buddy is preceded in death by his parents, Lowry Broyles and Mildred Sizemore and Margaret and Champ Cutshall, who raised him. He is survived by his two daughters, Teresa Lea Klepper (Kingsport, TN) and Susan Paige Fields and her spouse, Andy Fields (Greenville, SC); nephew, Michael Paul Johns (Kingsport, TN); grandchildren, Ty Gladson, Matt Klepper, Morgan Klepper, Chase Fields, Connor Fields and Kirsten Fields; great granddaughters, Payton Alexander Fields and McKinleigh Jade Fields; two sisters of Kingsport, Tennessee Pat Wininger and Kim Sizemore; and several cousins. Family will receive family and friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday November 12, 2018 at Model City Event Center (201 East Center Street, Kingsport, TN). The service will be conducted at 7:00 PM with Reverend Ronald Blevins officiating. Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (423-723-8177) is honored to be serving the Broyles family.
