Bruce Donald Chapman

Bruce D. Chapman, 85, of Church Hill, Tennessee passed away on February 29, 2024 after a period of declining health. He accepted Jesus as his Saviour at Mt. Pleasant Church and was baptized in Stanley Valley Creek. He served as deacon for many years at Greenvale Baptist Church.

Bruce was born to Sam and Chloetile Chapman in Stanley Valley on July 28, 1938.
He worked in the petroleum equipment business nearly his entire life. He loved his family and was a hard worker and good provider who loved to share his mechanical knowledge. He could fix anything.

Bruce is preceded in death by his parents Sam and Chloetile Chapman, wife Annie Brooks Chapman, brother(s) William S. Chapman, and John A. Chapman.

Bruce is survived by 3 children: Patricia Archer (husband David); Donald (wife Lori); Bruce (wife Katy), grandchildren April Chapman, Adam Barrett, Sara Wade, Levi Chapman, Michelle Gunter, Cissy Archer, David Archer and Lee Archer, and many great-grandchildren.

There will not be a service per Bruce's wishes. A private graveside service for the family will follow at a later date.
