Brian Estel Carty, 56, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Holston Valley Medical Center after an extended illness. Brian was born and lived in Kingsport. He worked for many years at Kingsport Press and he retired from Superior Communications. He was a member of Cedar Grove Church and he enjoyed racing and dirt late model.
Brian is preceded in death by his wife, Paige Carty; mother, Judy Church Carty; grandparents, Estel and Blanche Carty and Frank and Grace Church.
He is survived by his daughter, Olivia Carty (Church Hill, TN); father, Monte Carl Carty, of the home; sisters, Carla Ruth Kinsler and Carrie Ann Carty; brother, Brad Carty; half brother, Colt Carty; special nephew, Dylan Carty (all of Kingsport, TN); and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will hold a private service at a later date.
