Brandon Bryson, 48, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 12, 2021. Brandon graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High school in the class of 95. He worked at the Sullivan Countys sheriffs office until 2013. Later in life he worked on the road doing construction and became a pipe fitter. Brandon was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. His family will miss his cooking most of all. Brandon was of the Apostolic-Pentecostal faith. He is preceded in death by his sister Carrie Cole; his paternal grandparents Edward and Ardith Bryson; his maternal grandfather Gene Walls; his father and mother-in-law Bobby and Hazel Berry; as well as two very special friends Raymond Kanipe and Joe Stewart. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 27 years Amy Bryson; son Zachary Bryson; daughter Kayla Bryson; soon to be son-in-law Matt Calhoun; the light of his life, his grandson, Zeik Calhoun; his special grandmother Judy Walls; his parents Myra and Kenny Bryson; sister Audra (Bobby) Smith; brother-in-laws Dwight Berry and Greg (Kelly) Berry; nieces and nephews, Ashley (Kyle) Wells, Kaleb Wright, Justin Smith, Chelsea Smith, Dalton Cavin, and Katie Cole; great nephews baby boy Humphrey (due in June), Kaisly Wright, and Michael Cavin; aunts and uncles Cheryl (Alan) Myers, Carol (Kim) Conway; Stan (Charlotte) Walls; Kim (Tony) Weaver, Jason Walls, Brenda (Chester) Hill, Vickie Bryson, and Linda (Tom) Spangler; and many other family members who loved him very much. There will be a celebration of life held at Warriors Path State Park on Saturday, March 27th, 2021 at picnic pavilion number 2 beginning at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to help cover funeral expenses.
