Bradley Mangum, 56, of Bristol, TN, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 29, 2023.
Bradley was a long-time resident of the Bristol area. He was born in Bristol, VA, on August 5, 1966, to Faye Bridgeman (Harlow) and Gayle Mangum. He graduated from Virginia High School in 1984. Bradley enjoyed martial arts and regularly attended the Japan Karate-Do Organization from the age of 14 where he earned his black belt under Kyoshi Howard T. Smith. Bradley was the life of the party, and there was never a dull moment when he was around. He was well known for his sense of humor, strong views, and argumentative nature. Brad loved a good debate! Additionally, he had a passion for nature and mountain bike riding and instilled this in his children. He was the epitome of a great son and loved his mother dearly to the end.
Preceded in death by his grandparents: Lakie Harlow (Bristol, VA), James and Willie Joe Mangum (McMinnville, TN).
Survived by his mother Faye Bridgeman (Bristol, TN), father Gayle Mangum (Chattanooga, TN), ex-wife and mother of his children Kay Cassell (Bristol, VA), daughter Kelly Busbee (Justin Busbee) of Johnson City, son Cody Mangum (fiance' Carly Nicewonder) of Bristol, VA, and his four cherished grandchildren: Maddox, Ridge, Anderson, and Luna.
