Bonnie Jean Burns, 44, passed away at her home on Wednesday, November 11, 2015. Bonnie loved life and was a friend to all. She had many interests in life and loved to challenge herself. When she wasnt working, she was tending to her family of animals. She was a very compassionate person who loved to help others and rescue animals. Bonnie never met a stranger. She worked the majority of her career in retail management. She also served others as a law enforcement officer and she was the first female police officer hired in Plymouth, NH. Her love of horses led her to become a farrier. She enjoyed showing her horses. Most recently, she returned to school and attained an Associates Degree from Northeast State and graduated Magna Cum Laude. She was pursuing her masters degree from ETSU to become a speech pathologist. She was preceded in death by her mother, Paula Elizabeth Burns of Loudon, NH.. She was survived by father, William Burns of Brooksville, FL; step-mother, Deborah Burns; sister, Jean Magee of Stuarts Draft, VA; longtime companion and former beloved husband, Jerry Price; step-brothers, Philip Cebollero and Paul Cebollero; several nieces and nephews; her close family of friends; and her beloved animal children, 7 dogs, 7 horses, 7 cats, and the rest of the zoo. The family has invited friends to celebrate her life on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 6pm - 7:30pm at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home with a memorial service following at 7:30pm. Friends are encouraged to share a favorite story or memory during the service. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to an animal rescue of your choice.
