Bona Carolyn Brooks

Bona C. Foulk Brooks, 77, of Rogersville, TN, went peacefully at home with her family by her side on Saturday, November 5th, 2022.
Born September 8th, 1945, to Addie and Hiram Foulk. She lived in Sullivan County and then Hawkins County all her adult life. She was of the Baptist Faith. Bona worked as a CNA in private nursing duty, Hospitals, and Nursing Homes. She retired in 2008.
Bona loved all animals, and wildlife, working in her flowers in the yard, Volunteer Football, and Dallas Cowboys.
She is preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, and five sisters.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband of 16 years, Richard E. Brooks; son, David Cody and wife Monica; step-sons, Gary Brooks and wife Renee, Gerald Brooks; step-granddaughters, Holly Trent and husband Brett, Meghan Brooks; two step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 9th, from Noon to 2:00 pm at Trinity Memorial. Service will follow with Pastor Mike Owens officiating.
Graveside service will follow at East Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
