Bobby Wayne Hite

Bobby (Bubby) Wayne Hite Jr, 34, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024.

Bubby was a lifelong resident of Kingsport, Tennessee. He was a self employed contractor in construction, enjoyed fishing, and watching racing. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is preceded by his father, Bobby (Joe) Wayne Hite, Sr; his brother, Joseph Carl Hite; his grandfather, Carl Hite; his maternal grandparents, Helen Good and John Good; his aunt, Belinda Hite; and his uncle, Ronnie Lynn Hite.

Bubby is survived by his mother, Sherrie (Johnny Ray) Gilreath; his sons, Joseph Hite, Brendan Hite, and their mother Ariel Knipe; his grandmother, Ruth Hite; his siblings, Shiloh (Troy) Presley and Brittany Hite; his special aunt, Kathy Godsey; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.

The family will receive family and friends on Friday, May 10, 2024 from 6:00pm until 7:30pm with a service to follow. Services will be presided over by Pastor Johnny Gibson and Kaleb Kitzmiller.
