Bobby Luther Ward

Bobby "Bob" Luther Ward, 66, of Limestone, TN, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024.

In his many life pursuits, Bob was a Jack of All Trades and Master of None. He was a heavy equipment operator and mechanic. Bob was First Captain in the Watauga Fire Department for several years. He was an animal lover who had trained two chickens to join him in the evening to watch tv with him. Bob took care of several cats and his dog, Dirty Face.

Bob is preceded by his mother, Pauline Nelson Ward; his father, Herman Ward; two sisters, Jane Degone and Sue Ward; his sister-in-law Ellen (Richard); and his wife, Ella Ward.

Left to remember Bob are his brothers, James Ward (Maxine), Richard Ward, Andy Ward (Judy), and Ray Ward (Jean); his sisters, Cathy Moffit, Jo (Wendell) Coleman, and Faye Phillips; several nieces, nephews, countless friends; and special cousin and friend, Pastor Jeff Millsap and his wife Ingrid Millsap.

A Celebration of Bob's Life will be held on Saturday, February 17th 6pm, at True Fellowship Church at 116 Bunker Hill Road, Bluff City, TN 37618. Pastor Jeff Millsap will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that contributions be made towards Bob's funeral expenses, a love offering will be taken up during Bob's Life Celebration.
